So I went to Kroger today for what I was hoping would be a quick trip. There were only a few things I wanted to get so I ran through the store and got to the Pillsbury Refrigerated section and NOTHING was marked on sale...I was so confused...I just stood there.....I thought they had advertised buy 4 get them for $1 each but there was no signage. Since I was in a hurry I just grabbed 4 that I thought were on sale and headed to the check out. They rang up for $1.25 each and I thought maybe I had it wrong and they were 4 for $5. I was tired and hungry(another no no when you got shopping!) so I just left and figured I would double check it later. So I get home and look at my ad and figured out they were suppose to be $1 each! OH MAN...now I have to drag myself and my rolls(Pillsbury rolls that is!) back to Kroger to get me some $$ back. So here is my lesson(s) learned:
Always shop with your ad in hand!!!! and
If you think something didn't ring up right, check it BEFORE you leave the store.

I love couponing..but have to ask, is the trip back worth the $1 difference. Or because Kroger charged you wrong, will they have to give the total cost back due to their policy?? ( Although I think they only give you one item for free and the difference on the rest)
When I got my 8, they all rang up $1.25, but at the end it took off .25 each.
Great Question! I would not make a special trip just for $1-but since I drive past a Kroger on my way to work I just stopped and got got my money back. I will say, Kroger is really good about fixing their errors and refunding your money. You are correct about only getting the 1st item back when there is a register error. Thanks for leaving that comment and keep em comin!
